I wondered when you were going to reveal this! I'm pleased to hear all is well - she's a beauty, and the Tubi certainly adds to the drama.

I suppose I should reveal the replacement in my garage.....

Another QP V.

Until they get round to building a better looking car, I'll be sticking with this model. But when the Alfieri is launched, then I may need to change.

My thoughts exactly - best looking car on the planet.

. I am struggling to find reasons why I need a QP ,
More ideas to help satisfy my imagination/man maths are welcome!

There is no need, only desire!

Wanted a QP since I first spotted one - so got it. And kept my first car love too.
Forget logic, life IS the journey.

Ewan, tell us more...Have you purchased a new one or looking...If you have what model have you purchased..

I've bought yet another 2006 model. My third! All the same, the standard 4.2 duo-select. The black one is a lovely car, but is a devil to keep clean. I'm not surprised to hear that Paul has washed it every day. I went through that phase (though I admit I was paying someone else to do the actual "getting wet" bit).

My new one is silver, with black leather interior and black carpets. I'm hoping this is a bit more wash-friendly than the black/cream combo. I've known the car since new, as it was originally bought by a friend of mine. Via me, a few years later, he sold it to another friend of mine, from whom I have now purchased it. So, low owners, low miles, full history, new clutch, new tyres, always garaged, and so on. But it doesn't have a Tubi......yet!

Thanks Richard - it's a nice one. I'll end up paying a bit more than we discussed, but I'm happy with that and the seller is a friend. With luck I'll at least get a nice g&t next time I see him.

Another few wee updates for the QP. I managed to track down a set of Sport GT wheels for her with the help of gjwilson, thanks again mate.

Yes the ride is a little more harsh than the 19's but they just suit the car perfectly. 2nd other little update is the short, tinted, private plate to hide the age, everyone thinks this is still a 50k car.

What have you done with the 19 inch wheels? I've a friend looking for a set.

Still looks great by the way!

Thanks Ewan, still washing it every time I use it and your waxing has stood the test of time. Can't wait for the better weather to come though.

I still have the 19s tucked away in the garage. I could be tempted to sell them though, let him know.
