I dont think I've met either of you, but through your posts on here I've seen some of what you've done over the past year I've been a member. Sounds like you ensured Ryan enjoyed petrol head nirvana, my thoughts and sympathies are with you and your family.

Life can be a bit cruel at times; an hour ago we took the dog to the vet to get a limp diagnosed and it turns out she has osteosarcoma in her left shoulder. There is no cure for her. We know that because that is what Ryan died of so it was recommended that she was put to sleep. So where ever Ryan is, Margo is en-route. If it wasn't so tragic, it would be funny. Life really is a b!tch.

Everone has their own beliefs - mine are in line with that. Wherever 'there' may be, they're together.

If you're ever looking for evidence that life isn't fair, its a couple of post up from this one.

Sometimes it never rains, it just pours down. Ian, my thoughts were with you before and my goodness they're even more with you now. (I hope Ryan enjoyed a dark sense of humour.)

All my very best wishes,
Adam

Thanks guys, you couldn't make it up. BTW Adam, he did have a dry sense of humour; see post #62 for a gentle example.

Ian,
So sorry mate, this has not been the best of periods at all, let's hope that life starts to settle down a bit for you and your family, you can only endure so much.
I don't think I will be able to join the SCD outing on Sunday, I am still trying to shift this cold and now cough, so that I can try and be OK for Tuesday.
Cheers

Good grief Ian, that's terrible! Life can be very cruel and impossible to understand at times. I think we're all totally exasperated.

Thanks Loz. Give the cat one (a kick!) from me, I prefer dogs. I think I'll get a big box of big fireworks and a couple of cans of petrol to light them with. What else could possibly go wrong?!

Ian my condolences to you and yours for this terrible loss - I've been going cold-turkey on the temptation to buy italian sportscars and as a result have been off the boards for far too long.

I'm sure tomorrow will be a fitting send-off for Ryan (and Margo), and have every confidence his spirit will be strong in its presence for you all. Mourn the loss and celebrate the life twice as much.

Just heard too.. so sadened to read this. What can you say, so many lovely messages here with much thought to you and yours, I cannot even imagine what you must be going through. Those pictures are amazing and looks like a celebration of Ryans' life is the order of the day for tomorrow, thoughts will be with you if not in person. Thanks to SM for keeping us in touch, let's stand together against this horrid disease.. Best wishes from myself and the servicethecarteam - Andrea x
