Not a lot to say really , cracking turn out of supercars, they/we made enough noise to wake up the whole cemetry ,and by all accounts thats exactly what Ryan would have been smiling down on , havent admired a man as much as i admired Ian todayin a long long time , a rock and a true gent , whole thing is just too too sad for mere words alone and there were tens of grown men with tears running down faces to prove it me included , Cause havoc where ever you are Ryan that cheeky smile said it all ,rest assured on here you wont be forgotten thats for sure

Thanks Loz, I am glad he was surrounded by so many fantastic people on his final journey. It will be a long time before Crewe sees a sight like that again. Thank you.

Down my local after returning from the funeral, a glass raised to Ryan, an absolute honour to escort you to you final resting place.

Mixed emotions, a day of reflection and Ian was an absolute hero, a very proud man in very difficult circumstances.

Ryan, I trust you approved of the send of, sleep tight fella.

Also lifting a glass to Ryan. A truly impressive turnout of cars led in the finest fashion by Ian and his wife Sue. Despite the grey skies and drizzle, it was roof down and all four barrels blazing. Just as it should be. I echo Loz's thoughts regarding Ian today. Unbelievable strength.

My thoughts and very best wishes to Sue and Ian....... and to Ryan, Cheers Mate. Rest in Peace.

Ian-Ben,

As usual you did Ryan proud, I was truly impressed by the inner strength of your wife Sue and yourself, now we know where Ryan got his from. You still managed to prise out some humour for Ryan on the day, but I was with you and had tears in my eyes at the close of your eulogy, who could not. The magnificent tribute of noise from the supercars would give a smile to someone special.
Ryan we hope you have a swift journey, Rest In Peace.

Sorry it took so long; this week has been a blur, but here is a pic of the floral tribute given by SportsMaserati. It was received with our gratitude and it took pride of place against the platform on which he was resting.

Yes we were really pleased with the way it came out.

Just to explain to you all, it was a yellow bed of flowers with the RY4N coloured with dye. Over the top was mounted a plexiglass panel with the GB and Trident and the St George's cross, a black boarder and www.sportsmaserati.com bottom and centre.

We also gave Ian a printed version of the flowers so it can be sandwiched together and become a 1m keepsake.

Ian, I speak for all on here, it was an incredible honour to know Ryan and guide him to his final resting place.

The forum also has a little something for you, so keep an eye on the post next week.
