Never an easy day :-(

Dicky picked here up about half hour ago and drove off into the sunset, ready to start her new life up North.

Hats off to Dicky and another big thank you, the guy has helped many forum members move and purchase cars.

I followed him down the road and must say the GTS is one fine machine and I do want another one.

Gone, but not forgotten...

Feel for you Matt.

Decided what you are getting as an interim Maser?

Anyway, just think how cheap a GTS will be in a couple of years.

An early Spyder, nothing flash just fancy something inexpensive to blast around in whilst I recover financially.

Drove a couple when they were a production car. Different with the shorter wheelbase and a lot of fun. Hope you find a good one.

Matt, please don't take this the wrong way, try and put aside your feeling of the loss of your GTS, and then step back for a moment and reconsider the words "Maserati,"Spyder" and tally that with "nothing flash"! Just saying mate :)

Sure the new Masser, whatever it may be, will give you a lot of fun and ease the pain of the loss of a GTS. A convertible Maserati should put a smile on anyone's face!

Harleys, fact.

As mentioned in a previous post, been round the block and tried them all, and Harleys is still great. Will give that Dodo juice a go though as you have recommended it so highly Andy.

Yes, someones got themselves a lovely car. It's always mixed feelings selling a car, pleased when it's sold, sad when you see it drive away, and happy again when you pick up your next one.
I'm sure any sort of Maserati will put a big grin back on your face.

Gutted for you Matt, but you get to try another model from Maserati's stable - not exactly a hardship!

Better to have had one than not at all though Matt. I'm sure it's just a pause.....

I started writing the pistonheads ad for mine last night, soon to be the end of an era :(

Has yours actually sold Matt or is Dicky taking it to sell it for you?

I'd be amazed if mine sold before Christmas to be honest.

Don't worry Matt. I'm sure there will be lots of memorable days behind the wheel of a Maserati (whichever one you end up with) ahead.

But you know what kind of annoys me a bit? It's how all your friends and family tell you how great your bloody car was once it's gone! They are rarely as complementary when you are driving around in it! Funny that.

Now I'm not talking about the friends we have on this forum - they are a different breed and will always compliment a great car when they see one, past or present! You got to love em :)

Gone mate, I gave him your details too as he might be able to help.

One of his mates bought the car, Dicky was just picking it up.

On the plus side, the bank account looks quite healthy at the mo :)
