I started writing the pistonheads ad for mine last night, soon to be the end of an era :(

Has yours actually sold Matt or is Dicky taking it to sell it for you?

I'd be amazed if mine sold before Christmas to be honest.

Had an e-mail today from Graypaul Nottingham looking for cars. Specifically mentioned Lambos.

I had that one too Bigbob. They'll not be paying retail money though I wouldn't have thought.

When I bought my GS for £31,500 I put it through WBAC.com out of interest and it came out at £36k!!!

They are all over the place as the guys in head office vary the % of book they will pay for each brand on a daily basis. Often they bid low but sometimes they surprise.

I sold my 4200 to WBAC - much better bid then any other dealer.

BB, you're the first person I've ever heard of who actually sold to them. Did they screw you over at the inspection? I've heard stories of reasonable offers made online and then being massively reduced at the inspection due to various faults being pointed out. Seems like a ploy to get you there expecting the cash and hoping you don't walk away when they drop the offer.

From memory I got hit a few hundred but they were still over £1000 better than the dealer net of this.

Seemed strange selling to them but the guy was easy to deal with and the money came fast which was handy as I was going on hols a few days later.

My neighbour sold his Rangie to them and was very happy with the price and service.

Out of curiosity I've just run my QP through their site and they've offered me £13,999. Why not £14,000? Surely the old £999.99 trick is to deceive buyers, not sellers?

They are obviously not keen. Got more for that for my red, manual 2005 4200 with more miles last summer.

matt, is your house called puffin house??

that means smoking cannibis in london haha

It is, but we don't refer to it as Puffin House. I tried to remove it but it appears Gripfill has been used so best leave it there than take a sqm of render off.
