Just sent you a PM too MAF, and I'm happy to pick up any for the Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch area and also hold them for others further afield to pick up from me.

Re distribution.

I am likely to be traveling from Bristol to Preston, Lancaster, Grasmere, Durham and Northumberland in a couple of weeks. If I can take anyone's Up'North let me know.

not going via inverness are you? lol

Just a thought Greg, I'm up your way 29/30/31 May. If they come though in time, I could bring them up with me. Good excuse for a coffee if nothing else. Likewise for anyone else who has orders in Scotland and could meet up over that weekend.

Nice one but if I was you I'd check out with SWMBO in case discs take up suitcase room! Lol
Seriously, that is a nice offer. Pm me if things work out and you are happy to do it.........or if you are leaving the boss behind to make room!

She'll just do as she's told <runs, hides, ducks to avoid flying objects> lol

It does seem daft not to when I'm going to be less than an hour away from you.

For those who wanted the info on Mintex pads (which I've found to be very good):

Brakeparts.co.uk
BPS 2359
BPS 1379
Was £65 including carriage when I bought some last September.

Hi Mark, are they the normal mintex or the extreme range?

I can remember putting extreme pads with tarox G88 discs. Bite was unbelievably good, but they were too noisey. So please, anyone tried them, write some review about noise. it would be a pity to investigate on better braking and make noise like a truck.

Wonder if Mark would be able to hear his brakes making any noise at all with all that lovely V8 noise coming from his exhausts...

The reference number above refers to the Mintex OEM replacement pads.
I think I would try their 1144 material (fast road). I had these fitted on my Elise and found them excellent.

I use Mintex MDB 1752 on the Front, good initial bite when cold, low dust, still haven't got them to fade, even after 8 spirited laps of SPA!

I'd love to meet up on the way through if you couldn't bring mine too. Very kind offer and would be great if you could.
