Welcome to the Madhouse. Just keep the colour of your callipers to yourself and you’ll be fine.
I've got red ones on my megane too - 330mm, not sure how big they are on the maserati..
They are red. I can smell them from here.Welcome to the Madhouse. Just keep the colour of your callipers to yourself and you’ll be fine.
thanks for the sensor tip
This weekend, time for a clean and a thorough tidy up
Mine p****s condensate like an old maid - don't worry about it, shows its workingThat will be air con condensation, not a biggie.
If I were you I’d be having a good look at the chassis plates and the subframe.

I think you said what everyone was thinking!!!!Considering you bought this car sight unseen. From a seller you didn't know. With no idea of the car's maintenance history. Without a specialist PPI. With limited knowledge of the marque and not even having sat in one.
I'd say that the fact that when you tried to start the car, the doors and wheels didn't fall off and smoke didn't billow out of the engine bay. Like a clown car in a circus. Is a massive win. You lucky, lucky SoB!
The car looks fabulous. And when you get tired of the wrap. You have a gorgeous shade of blue underneath.
The leather looks unmarked. Though I'd get the drivers bolster treated so it doesn't deteriorate further.
I couldn't be happier for you. You have an exquisite car, at a great price.
Write up everything you do to maintain the car, including brands of plugs, oil etc etc and any buyer ought not to miss franchised dealer stamps.
Apparently someone once said that it's better to be lucky than smart. The context was military leadership.
But if you can be smart AND lucky, then no matter the challenges, you'll normally end up smelling sweetly of roses.
I know how good that feels.
And I suspect that a few others hereabouts do too
So my first real impressions.
I'm a little disappointed with the overall condition of this motor. I've spotted a few things very early on that need some form of repair, most easily fixed.
The car hasn't been valeted. Vape bottle in the middle arm rest, not hoovered, found some rubbish, section under boot floor lots of bits, tools spread out,
Boot carpet has been out at some point and poorly put back together
Tear in the front driver window tint (not sure if thats aftermarket)
Front badge not fitting right - its not very secure, although found a post here which shows how to sort.
Strip below rear badge missing screws and is loose.
Rear bumper section missing lips/screw.
Passenger side side skirt not fitted correctly after wrap
Door card is torn on the passenger side, above door mechanism (this was pictured on the ad, i missed it)
Boot struts are broken, they hold the boot, but allow it to go too far, almost touches the rear window
Parking sensors do not work (i think)- amber light is on - if there's a way to test these id appreciate it
Bluetooth function not available, although buttons are on the steering wheel/dash
Also, noticed this - looks like water - one of my hgvs does this after the zircon is used,
Amazingly, I sat at 60mph on the motorway and averaged 35mpg??? Down to 20 after a few 1-3rd blasts.
Boot struts are quite cheap and probably better from SGS

Have you checked both the radiator top up tank and the screen wash one for cracks?
It's a common Maserati issue.
Or they did and just topped up the air and tightened the valve cap quickly. Can't believe the dealer selling the car didn't give it a basic pdi before letting the car leave.
Quite irresponsible really especially if you had been tempted to push the 400 ponies.
Be interested in your thoughts once you get her up on the lift.
They tend to drop condensate water from some the exhaust joints on cold start up. In my experience normally from the x pipe. Although having just watched your video I imagine it is Aircon. It's going up on the ramp today. Mrs Spoon text me with this.. with a "is this happening again" That was 08.40. I left at 6am.
