lots of options! I assume wherever we go we can sort out some good karting, and a good meal (in hotel or otherwise) but persnally I think its important that we go somewhere with a good late bar / disco in hotel / next door where we can all have a good laugh, for those of us that like an xmas blow out!. A small quiet bar won't be nearly as much fun (I'd say last years venue was great for that, but the drinks prices were daft)... for me, I'd be happy to drive a little longer to wherever fits that bill....

We will give it another week for any suggestions, then put it to the vote and Miles will book it up.

Interestingly, Mrs Conaero was watching over my shoulder last night looking for hotels, and she now has expressed a willingness to attend!....the worlds a changing place!

No afters, drinking, smoking, dodgy videos and throwing things out the window in my room this year!

Oulton Hall Hotel is currently fully booked.
How about this one, it's in the heart of the Leeds Student Quarter, loads of pubs / clubs / bars etc and only a short ride to central Leeds if required. They look to have space currently.

I've only just seen this! That simply is not on, it's tradition!
If your lovely better half would like to attend, that's absolutely fine with me.... but best you organise a "club" room for the debauchery

The Cavendish is a bit more accessible to those around London and south at least, but we need to decide soon or everything will get booked. There's the karting and restaurant to book as well, both for large parties, so sooner the better!

After last years performance where someone threw my bible out my bedroom window, I cant have that going on with the missus there.

(OK, it was actually me that tossed the new testament skyward, but still, and besides, I can get my own back and order the filth channel on one of your room accounts for a change...:worried1:...)
