Sportsmaserati.com XMAS (SIXTH) MEET - Ace Cafe December 2010

After speaking with the Ace Cafe Owners last night, we have been offered to whole site for a dedicated SportsMaserati Forum night.

The 2 dates offered are Wednesday 22nd or Thursday 23rd of December. Now, its right up close to xmas but dont see a problem.

I would expect this to be a big one with at least 15-20 Masers, but think we might invite another forum to share it with us.

Your thoughts.

as you know im up for it, if i had to pick id say take the wed date as its not so close and hopefully more people can make it, the 1st week of dec would have been perfect but dont matter, imagine that, a night at ace with nothing but masers come on guys....

I might book a travel lodge or something and make a night of it, or even Urbys sofa.

Ah would love this ..... But we have a holiday ban in December so will not be able to get ime off. Gutted as was thinking about what the forum would do for Christmas the other day.

I agree with Dem that a week or two earlier would be ideal for me, but Christmas diary permitting, I'll be there. May do the same as Matt and find somewhere to stay and I'll try and persuade Mrs Tee to come also. We can have an Ace Cafe burger and chips black tie Christmas extravaganza. What fun.

I agree early December would be better but those are the only 2 dates they have left.

Might be fun to make it something more than a regular meet that just happens to be at Christmas, whether at Ace or elsewhere? Get some half decent grub organised? The inaugural Sports Maserati Annual Awards? Other halves? I know it sounds lame, but can you imagine a secret Santa with us lot doing the buying? Could be hilarious! Open it up? The Owners club have a Christmas bash, could schedule to tie in with that? Can't believe I'm going to say this, but get viral on the other forum and let them know what's going on? etc, etc.

As Andy K cant get time off in December, cos santa wont let any of the christmas elfs have time off, we should have it at his house. it only down the M4 & up a track.
that way andy gets at least one good meet this year.

See that sounds good a full blown Christmas award doo.....As lonf as its a Saturday because of ASDA Christmas time off policy....Oh and not the weekend before Christmas as again I will be working that one....Christmas is ***** in Distribution.

Andy, christmas is shiite in distribution ?????..............its not as if you have to deliver to all the little kids in all the world now is it............I never heard santa moaning..............I never ever woke to the sound of some old guy grumbling down my chimney " f*ck this , i'm getting a proper job next year"..........................unless of course you are santa.............in which case.........can I have.......
