What about at Dems family restaurant, should be able to fill the place. The secret Santa is a great idea, we would need to get firm numbers with no dropping out, so would look for people to pay up front for a set meal maybe. Ill will grab a Travel Lodge so I can have a few sherbets. Other halves, well can do, or is it going to be a bit too much car driven for the fairer sex?

Can see your thinking Matt. If the weather is bad, then it's possibly not the occasion for cars, but I must say that if we can get a good gathering, and weather permitting, it'd be great to get some proper photo's of the cars lined up.
It'd be nice to hold this at Dems place as it'd be keeping it in the family but, depending on who signs up and where they're travelling from, it might be a case of sticking a pin in the map to find where's most central?
that wont work, i dont have parking facilitites, its on a main road so i dont feel comfy telling you all your masers will be safe if your parked on a busy main road, ill have a word with a few friends who have restaurants with parking here and see if they can, that way its doable, lets see what they say today ill go see them

How about we stay a a travel lodge or similar and just dump the cars there and forget bringing them to your restaurant?

that would defo get my vote!
sorry guys was away amsterdam, i just got in, what i said ill do is look to see what dates best as i could be away to cyprus for xmas or leading up to xmas, also dad tells me we busy throughout dec so i have to balance the dates well,, ill sort something out and if not a family friend who has a restaurant with 20 spaces said he will do it as long as he can take pics of the cars and ave his 8 year old boy there
