Well if the stands are too far apart for that I'm sure we will direct the Masser fans to each others display area.

Thanks for your offer, I'm still hoping we can get our ten cars for the event, Nick seems confident that we'll be OK when it comes to the crunch!

;) I promised to keep y'all up to date so here's a message received this morning from the organisers "Thanks for your patience" and expressing some sentiments that you should know:-

"Thanks again everyone for your terrific help and all the work you do in car prep and turning up, it us hugely appreciated."

I have just received an electronic image of the event poster if anyone wants to print it out to display at work, local shop etc. to drum up interest - please pm me as I cant see any way to attach it on the thread ( :embarrassed: bear of little brain confirmed!). Anyone know, it's in pdf format? ....

There are now 4 paddock passes available to members.
No, no-one has dropped out, just offered other duties onsite.

Hi all,

At last the Information and paddock pass we have all been waiting for- obviously delivered too late for snailmail so I regret that you'll have to do a 'save image' and print it off yourselves:-

We've been given a great spot right in the centre of the action, close to the Strawford Main Control Centre and Tavern, up towards the Avon footbridge.

You need to arrive off the B4638 Bristol to Chippenham road and show the above pass at the gate for paddock entry.
If there's any problem ask for Jemma or Amy.
You should be directed to the Paddock entrance on the right. Please observe the 15 mph speed limit. :auto14:
After about 100 yards turn to the left hand side of the paddock and our display area is on the left side of the road (areas G$, G5 and G6) just short of the Strawford Centre, please reverse in.
I'll try to be there to assist but if S*ds Law strikes I suggest the Maseratis park at the Bristol Car Club end and the Alfas at the other which will allow SportsMaserati member SteveM to snuggle up to the Massers on our stand. :)

Any other members who would like to display their fine cars will be most welcome, but please post your intention. Don't miss out - there is only room for four more!
If you're bringing an interesting car (M3?) AndyK it looks like there may be room on the stand.

Any queries I will try to answer but otherwise it's flat out prepping the GTV.

8.30 to 9 would be ideal for anyone who can make it. I'll be there from about 7.30 but intermittently between 9 and 10.30 due to commitments, hence the parking suggestions.

Wish I had something interesting my friend but the M3 went over a year a ago....

As has been pointed out the Sports Italia/Alfa/Maserati stand has been conveniently located next to Bath Motor Club Stand - I love it when a plan comes together! I hope to get there for about 8.30-8.45

As we are trying to put on a display of Italian cars and have four spare display places which it seems our members are not able to fill - then personally I would welcome a well prepped Alfa Sud Ti on the same terms as Members cars.

Can we have some guidance please on SportsItalia policy from a senior member as this is outside my brief?

We have only one day left and I'll OK it if there is no objection by Friday afternoon

There is no guidance...Just fill the places with Italian cars.....We are very laid back on SportsItalia......

Thanks for the advice. :) er. I don't suppose you are interested in cleaning Alfas or is it exclusively Maserati?

It looks a great example of a Sud and is reviving some good memories of the 70's for me 'cos I had 2 Ti's along with 2 'ornery ones, one was in that green.

Can you print off an extra paddock pass please and get it to your buddy?

Local weather forecast is not bad, partly cloudy in the morning with a sunny afternoon and temperatures rising from 11 - 17 degrees so bring the Ambre Solaire!
