Well I managed to get the motor out of my post lift so that I can get it matched as a pair of 230/415v three phase and get the thing powered up! It put up an astonishing fight...

Dismantled the old timber bench too, weighed a blinkin ton.

Didn't get to do the welding job though so will have to get onto that tomorrow or mid week.

Jealous!!!

I went to watch the tour when it went through Yorkshire. I also have bee to see the tour of Flanders. Love it!!

Le Tour in Yorkshire was epic - the crowds were much bigger than pretty much any French stage can manage :)

The section past my place in the Alps won't be very exciting though - it's in the valley between two sets of mountains, essentially completely flat, and they will just rattle through in seconds, slowed only a bit by the roundabouts. We'll see the start in Megeve though, then drive home and catch them coming through the village. No chance of us then getting to see the finish of the stage though, since the road will have been closed for hours.

Yes Yorkshire did the tour proud
I do hope it returns

Morning all, not sure about that Phil, seems over fussy to me, I did consider spraying the grill wire in three though.

More of the same today with a bit of rugby chucked in, plus getting ready for the week starting with a run down to Exeter and Plymouth.

Have fun all...

Morning all. Yesterday was a rousing success, although I ate way too much. I can thoroughly recommend M+S food to go stuff if anyone's planning a thing. Very nice indeed, and not badly priced.

Good friends, good family. Taking it easy today. Currently sitting on the deck with a coffee.

Have a great day, all

Morning all. Up early this morning.

Just been to our Wedding reception venue (Lympne Castle), and I asked if I could leave the Maser there for the night, as I don't trust my brother to be able to drive it into my garage with getting any bodywork damage.

They were totally fine with it as the owner drives a GTS. Normally no cars are allowed to be left there at night but as it's a Maserati, that's no problem at all! :D

Morning all, working my way West today, near Heathrow, Oxford, Westonbirt and on to Plymouth to visit my brother-in-law who is hanging in there. Overnight will be somewhere near Exeter as I'm in the prison in the morning.

Have fun all...

Morning you lot!
I have most of the week in the office this week, so a more relaxed few days ahead (I'm sure I'll change that).
I'm pleased this week is going to be hot... I discovered that the shower at work is no longer heating water, so this is the sort of weather that lets you cope with (want) a cold shower!
Also, rather unimpressed... my roof mech is not fixed, so maybe Emblem should have risked replacing the bypass screw.
Ah well, happy Monday everyone!
