Escaped from Exeter Prison :) had breakfast, I may just take a cheeky look down the road at Ftech; it would be rude not to having come all this way :D

My bedroom :)

Morning all. AC on in the office won't be long before all the Brits are complaining about it being too hot.

It's definately beer drinking weather.

Day off tomorrow, MOT for the Opel now I have it running again.

£40 MOT, £72 insurance, free tax, rude not to!

Hello!
I've just done the fan-run for the office. I also rather appreciated that the work shower only runs cold water at the moment. Lunch will be in the meadow today, by the river.

Fascinating. Apparently variators are not 'internal moving parts' of the engine.....

Anyone care to hazzard a guess as to why this may be? I'll share as soon as I'm able....
(and when they've told me the logic....)

Are they stuck? ;)

I can't imagine they will be able to successfully argue their way out of that one - the clue is in the name... They aren't 'staticators'...

They won't be covered under all warranties as technically they also haven't failed but are just noisey.

That's not the reason they are quoting though..... Also you are likely to kill the cats by driving with them out of whack.

Well I did make a cheeky visit to Ftech and met Dan an Tim a great couple of fellas, chewed the cud for a bit and let them know what I'm looking for should such a motor come to light.

I then had an inspection to make at Westonbirt National Arbouritum, I usually get run around in a Gaitor (6-wheeler) but on the hottest day of the year so far, no one was available so I Belarus to resort to Shanksie's Pony to wander the whole site, it nearly killed me!

I rejoined the M4 at J17 so it would have been rude not to have called into Dick Lovetts on the way past.

Next problem was not apparent to me except that I was trying Waze and it suddenly popped up that the M25 was shut clockwise somewhere up near MAF's and it diverted me off at Slough, beaconsfield etc. all the way round to the A41 junction on a route I would never have imagined. A very impressive bit of software.

Just had a great evening in the pub, celebrating a bitter sweet anniversary. Too much food, too much beer and great company. Off to bed to cultivate a hangover. :D
