That was in the English Bar on Westerbrogade, Copenhagen, where I spent pretty much every evening......

I honestly couldn't tell you what any of the bars in Esbjerg looked like, I was more interested in the short blonde Danish girl who was with us.

Ah-hem, morning all (again), another late posting but a magical day, started with a sedate breakfast looking at the Med, off to a pre-arranged car wash (thank you Zep) to ready the cars for the display in Portofino.

Morning. Knackered! Could do with a relaxing holiday somewhere European. I wonder if any forum members have any good tips based on recent experiences..?

Had a cracking lunch and long-overdue catch-up with the Keeper of the Flying Banana yesterday. Today I'm blessed with too much work. Tomorrow, if all goes according to plan, I shall be taking the day off.

PS - Christmas? **** that!

Morning,

Last working day of the week for me. Couldn't come soon enough.

Dropping the Ghibli off for a service later, will pick it up tomorrow after parting with a chunk of cash. I will get the joy of driving a 420i for a day, which will really confirm my choice of the Ghibli.

Have a great day all

Morning - off to book our India holiday for next year. Tour finishes in Kerala, any recommendations for a week ‘cool-down’ location?

Morning all (made it today), the MOB depart Portofino for Lake Como late morning, it’s a hard life!

Met MAF’s Brazilian cousin yesterday at the display, they showed us photos of their own flying banana out there.

Have fun all....

Good morning everyone, a very foggy start but happy to say that it's burning off. Early start, early finish, next few weeks are going to be manic so I'm enjoying the calm...

If you find a decent week away, pass details on. I need a rest, but am sick of looking for holidays, my missus said lets do triangle tour in India, I'm like what part of "a rest" is that.....

Must say, I hate booking holidays. The paradox of choice and far too many bloody review sites just pisses me off.

In the last week, I've planned Dubai, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Rio and Sao Paolo. All work, looking forward to none of it very much. A proper break would be a thing of wonder, Dave. India is doubtful for a rest. First time I went I got deported, the second time I got Madras-a55 and Delhi-belly all rolled into one terrifying volcanic disaster, the third time was fine. If you're doing a triangle reckon on two of the three points involving an incident.

Good luck!

I know it. There's the square hotel round the corner where I have stayed a few time . Now I stay in the Tivoli Hotel which has a MASH on the top floor of the south tower. Steaks to die for!!!

I also drink in Victoria pub too and the odd cocktail in Hard Rock. When I'm over there next I'll ping you if you are living out there?

I know that you are well travelled so what sort of thing? Chilling break with a beak? City break with a bit of culture? I can't imagine there is anywhere you haven't been where I have too! What about Ljubljana, chilled out city, small, university, cafes, bikes, culture? Lake Bled not too far...

Croatia, Split on the Dalmation coast. Stunning beaches and good beer/food.

Sicily? Always stunning and Taormina is a jewel with Syracuse well worth a visit for a few days.

Portugal? Algarve? Lagos and Luz. Stunning Atlantic beaches and cheap food.
