Morning all back to WFH mentality but have the challenge of working out how to pick, pack and dispatch over €3m of stuff that was ordered over a 4 day Easter online sale - people might not be able to shop in store but they certainly want a bargain.

I really hope that wasn't my wife.

I actually get to go out today, trying to do it all in one round trip, bank to pay a cheque in(work) , halfords for a bulb(work) and some polish (not work), post office(work) and Lidl(might find something with a plug on that's essential) on the way back

I'm going in the Mustang so no doubt a copper will be spitting his tea out as I drive past

Very satisfying; just been out and burned all the weeds out of the granite sets on the driveway with the big torch!!! Step one in the preparation for doing the inset resin bound stones to the middle later in the year.

I bought one last year and did the same to the weeds on our drive.

They were back in a week. :(

I fully expect them to be - at least the perennials, the others will sprout from seeds no doubt but I enjoyed it and will keep at it before a deep jet blast to remove organics and then I will treat with residual herbicide before I lay the resin bound.

Good morning all....Work and hearing a dismissal appeal today but over the phone...That's a first and bit weird not having the chap in front of me.

Morning,

Last week of being paid to do nothing this week. Chasing around for other things so far things are a bit slow. So it looks like more enforced laziness.

On the good news front, my Alfa Spider just needs a couple of brake related fixes for its MOT then I can sort a social distancing pick up.

Good morning everyone, actually worked at work yesterday. A rare treat.
It was quiet, so very quiet, to quote Bjork.
I spent 3 hours pootling around the airfield doing maintenance and other odd jobs and there was only one landing. The only things flying were a Kestrel and a couple of buzzards. All the parked aircraft have had their engines sealed front and rear in plastic, a very unusual day.

No drones, then..?

Morning, all. Today is sunny and is due to stay that way. If it has the common decency to also be warm then hopefully I can do some work from the garden this afternoon. Which would be nice.

I use this stuff , but no where near the amount of boyhood fun and power feeling you get from using the blowtorch , twice a season on all the paths seems to do the trick for me

Yes, I could have used roundup or any other glyphosate but where is the fun in that? I actually set the torch up for my youngest to do it but moment he heard it and saw all the leaves in the drain on fire he bottled it! Bloody snowflake!
