It is a full on lance meant for flat roofs and I have it for the thermal markings on the playgrounds (like carpark lines)

Yes, I could have used roundup or any other glyphosate but where is the fun in that? I actually set the torch up for my youngest to do it but moment he heard it and saw all the leaves in the drain on fire he bottled it! Bloody snowflake!

I hear 65% weed killer 25% sugar and 10% charcoal works great with weeds , just stand back and light the touch paper :argue1:

Your youngest grandchild? Start the pyrotechnician skills early, good man!

I bought one last year and did the same to the weeds on our drive.

They were back in a week. :(
Buy a 25kilo bag or two of dishwasher salt, sprinkle it over, little bit of water and that will sort the little blighters. Then the torch to burn them off when crispy.

Morning, fellow fiends.

Er. Yup. Same again. But the weather is due to be warmer. I de-camped to the garden around midday yesterday but, hopefully, today will be a bit warmer sooner.

Well it’s a shame that as a key worker I have to visit the office today for my twice weekly visit, on the plus side the daily is blocked in by the GTS so I have had to bring that

Morning everyone!
I'll be heading into my former office today to dump the laptop and pick up my effects. It'll only be me and the office manager there to open up. I'm looking forward to seeing her and I'm also looking forward to being able to close that chapter.
It's early days, but I think that my weight loss may be starting to get back on track. My enforced exercise is making me get out. When I returned from yesterday's bike ride my next door neighbour posted gingerbread men through my letterbox - ace! I've been joining my elderly neighbours in afternoon tea meets every day across our front gardens. It's good banter. Then we had the joy of the mobile chippy van returning last night after two weeks off (comes every Wednesday usually) - to announcement of its arrival is a tolling bell and I've always wanted to call out "Bring out your dead!" when it comes into the cul-de-sac.
HapPea Thursday!
