Booger!

At least you're local to Elite. Hugely impressed with that lot for tyres, alignment and their fancy voodoo balancing tricks.

Will we be voting for Newton's Next Rims once you've shortlisted a few possibles?

Cheers Crud; I haven't started looking yet as it has been a rather expensive week already and I need to refresh the coffers first!

Morning all. Office today for more of the same. Nipped into Tesco's before work, and everyone in there was rushing around like it's the end of the world.

If anything it's more of the same for anyone who has been careful and taking precautions.

Morning all....Notice a damp patch on the ceiling in the bay window. Only seem to get it one side when we have driving rain....A morning of inspection and a ceiling gun.

Morning all.
Not sure what I'm up to today other than my house sale is progressing nicely and I need to stop looking on Autotrader and the various sites over here.
Cars so much cheaper in the UK that's for sure.
Stay Safe all as we got hit hard yesterday here in France.

Morning all, new tyres on the Range Rover following last weeks puncture and a new battery going on tomorrow that should be it ready for winter. BMW winters pulled out of storage will bet them fitted in the next week or so.

Today a normal WFH chase down a few issues and prep for a session with the MD tomorrow which will be fun.

Downside can I find a decent turbo trainer for the winter can I buggery well I might just make the most of it and start Xmas indulgence early

Yes that was the main roof....This is the small bay window which wasn't done as we had some work on it a number of years back.....Obviously it was just a patch up....

Morning all. Office today for presentation preparation. It seems like investment houses like information dressed up in pretty presentations rather than in an email.
Personally I just prefer the facts, but hey! They pay the bills!

Some sad news as I walked into the office this morning though, Leslie, our receptionist, her dad has taken a turn for the worse and is being kept alive on a machine which they will probably switch off at the weekend.
The only problem is, he's in South Africa, and she needs to get a PCR Covid test, before she can fly back as NHS ones are not reliable enough apparently.
Just been trying to help her get one, what an absolute nightmare that is, and the prices some people are charging is criminal!

Just hits home all of the other side issues this virus is causing. In normal times she would be on her way to the airport right now. :(

Good morning all....So been off this week but feels like I may as well have been in work.........Managed to redeploy 63 colleagues so far out of 145 for the 4 weeks of lockdown. Some want furlough. At least this time we still have Wales pubs to deliver to so that will keep around 26 in work with ourselves.

Morning Andy.

Yes silly season returns. The loo roll shelf (or lack of) in the supermarket was the first indicator.

Roads and queues in shops gone mental as panic buying returns.

What is wrong with people?
