Morning Andy.

Yes silly season returns. The loo roll shelf (or lack of) in the supermarket was the first indicator.

Roads and queues in shops gone mental as panic buying returns.

What is wrong with people?

It's crazy Matt.......I will say that in Wales this was not an issue for these two weeks lockdown. Most of the colleagues I have redeployed for the next 4 weeks are into the supermarket depots.....

Morning all. You can't vaccinate against stupid, sadly.

Frost on the ground here. Need to hit the bike then a couple of calls.

Have a great day, all

Morning all, the blonde leader this morning should be fun but a bit of a family issue arose yesterday which will take some careful managing.

Lockdown here has been in for 2 weeks and generally, here, everybody is doing as they are told. Roads are quiet, shops that are open are ticking over with no obvious panic buying causing stock outages, the only noticeable difference is Postman Pats van is beginning to look too small, the number of packages he carries now is exponential to what he's use to carry. He was telling us yesterday that he feels like Santa with all the presents he is delivering to parents who are planning ahead.

Good morning everyone, it's bl00dy freezing here. Day three of a week long TCP/IP course today. It's stuff that I know but never been properly taught so it's good to understand why things are the way there are. Instructor is your typical geeky type. Bueller?

Just looked outside and first frost for us here.
Thankfully they don't seem to panic buy too which is rather nice.
Read yesterday somebody buying 30 2 litre bottles of water so bizarre.

Panic buying wankpots, need a good slap. Happily, our local shop had everything I needed when I dropped in yesterday, including lots of things which I didn't need and therefore didn't buy.

Morning, all. A touch of frost lurking around this morning. Quick visit soon from someone coming to measure up for new front gates and then the day is more or less my own, as is the rest of the week before getting stuck into a new contract next week. All being well it should keep me out of trouble and in toys for a few years.

@CatmanV2, good luck with your calls.

@GeoffCapes, good luck with your pitch deck. Welcome to my world. Let me know if you need a checklist. There are some usual things these guys (for guys they usually are) like to see.

Hey Darren, good morning to you, how goes the detailing world?

I've just finished giving a first-thing-in-the-morning virtual training session, what fun!

hope all well your end, how's the 4S?

its not paying the bills but its going well, waiting on planning permission to change my garage doors! I had an R8 v10 and then a tesla, I get the electric stuff and it will be quicker but the sound of an engine just gives me a smile - will be sad day when it switches over.

With the constant downpours of the past few weeks, it hasn't seen much use. I am however planning a trip to Tesco in it tomorrow!!

Morning all. Chilly start this morning. Had to jump start a neighbours car this morning.

More titivating presentations for investors, which is actually not too bad, once the base document is done, then for future presentations it's just a matter of of inserting the relevant info into it.

And it almost makes me look professional! Almost....

Well Success for the Renault 4 and a two year MOT.
The tester said he has never seen one so nice and totally rust free.
He liked the fact I had oiled the underside and said he wants to buy it.
He made me promise that he can have first dibs if I do.

Evening (rather than morning) all, some joy for a change MOT day yesterday and passed without a single advisory!

Bloody amazing but, predictably, on the way home one of the rear brakes sounds like it's catching slightly......................

A very good bonfire night .....well morning.....to you all. Off for an early morning walk, clear the leaves from the front and back garden, binge watch the last 5 episodes of the Walking Dead. I will have taken me and my good lady 8 weeks to do 160 episodes. Never done that before.

Good morning everyone, thirty long years ago a 19 year old me was given a certificate, a badge (and the important payrise!) which has kept me in gainful employment and given me many adventures ever since.
