Sounds like you've had a bit of a nightmare. Hope your Mum's ok though.

She is, ta. At least physically. For which we are grateful. Less grateful that I'm job hunting for March, but I can deal with that :) Sort of :D All I need os to be told I have Omicron and my week will be complete!

Well, that's quite enough to be going on with. Good luck with it all.

It's Friday and another week nearly finished.
Heating working beautifully after the 7th visit and stinking the house of oil yesterday.
Hopefully we won't see him again.
Out for dinner tonight and a visitor for the weekend house hunting.
Stay Safe all.

Well that's me jabbed for a third time! Moderna this time AZ the last two times, so mixing it up a bit!

Oh and Alex has had his offer accepted on a rather lovely 3-bed semi about 100 yards from where I grew up! So that is two of mine presently buying houses.
Double-AZ plus Modena or Pfizer is apparently the Daddy of all trendy jabster cocktails, Newton. Invincible, mate.

Good news on Alex's offer. well done, him, and best of luck for a smooth buying process.

Morning all.
Might as well just call the RAC now, and get it over with for today.

Perhaps buy you old QP back now it is up for sale again buddy. Feels like it may have been more reliable than your new one. You aren’t have much luck. Hopefully all sorted now with the new battery.

Morning all, emptying the van this morning, a run to the scrap yard (iron at £215/t) and to collect the Alfa after its nose job! Also to drop off the van for a major service including belts, it is nearly 5 years old and at 70k so due on both counts now.

Have fun all…

Hello everyone!
Gosh, a fair bit of news on several fronts there. 'Yay' for the good ones and 'Meh' for the cr4ppy ones.
Dunno what'll happen today, but hopefully something useful and some exercise.
HapPea Friday!

Well perhaps from a karma point of view. But I don't think I can really moan about the 'reliability' of my 'new' QPV for a blown tyre and an aggressive tree branch. And suddenly needing a new battery is an occupational hazard with all QPVs, I think - plus karmic retribution for telling people to 'just drive every day'.

I'm also calm about my recent MoT result - a Fail for 'ineffective handbrake' (of course), plus some talk about 'play in the bushes'. Orr, errr, Matron!

Somehow my brain summarised this as: "a run to the scrap yard to drop off the Alfa"

Lol the reference it not about driving but about walking back from the pub……… some say I fell down a deep embankment at Le Mans, others say Matt got me drunk and Zep pushed me ;):p
Ooop - sorry - but it doesn't take much to confuse me
