Morning all. WFH for a couple of hours this morning then a day with the family. Taking Joseph ice skating and then off to lunch somewhere, maybe at Bluewater to get a few bits of Christmas shopping.

Had some positive news yesterday as we closed on a big solar deal in Poland. So that's my income secured for the next 2 years, which is obviously a bonus. Sadly Alex feels that I should still go to work. :(
Oh well. On to the next one.

Also got my booster jab booked for Sunday afternoon, and as a Brucie bonus, it's at the local health centre half a mile away.
Makes a change than to have to drive for half an hour!

I'm also calm about my recent MoT result - a Fail for 'ineffective handbrake' (of course), plus some talk about 'play in the bushes'. Orr, errr, Matron!
Well, that sounds like an excellent way to spend time while your MOT is being done. Mostly they only offer a crappy cup of coffee in a polystyrene cup. Which MOT station do you use?

Woke this morning at our hotel in Stratford Upon Avon after very enjoyable boozy meal at Loxleys restaurant and drinks later at the Dirty Duck.
The town is heaving with street afte street of Christmas Market all crammed with people, good to see given how difficult things have been.
Lunch next follows by a town tour and drinks later.
No emails or work today !

Might sound really daft but if you get cold there’s the butterfly farm just over the bridge. Think it’s about £7 and lovely and warm inside.

Hello folks!

Errands, then taking my godson and his family to the airport as they're off to Montreal for Christmas... so jelly! Also, gonna miss them loads for five weeks.
At least I have a new distraction :dance2:.

Then it'll be a day with the fire on in the living room and Christmas baking with a friend.

HapPea Saturday! xXx

Good morning everyone.
A great end to the week visiting another nice and very rustic restaurant in Craon.
Today lunch with friends in Ballots.
Need to do some car cleaning at some point.
Stay Safe all.

Travel home today after a few days in Stratford upon Avon, going on a slight detour to Henley on Arden for lunch.
Tomorrow I am off to the Christmas Tree farm with my aone to chose our tree, he has been coming with me for over 20 years and still insists on coming with me.

Morning all, nothing much planned need to take the girls to get a few little things for their mother, which will probably end up with them having a smoothie and me having a coffee with an egg and bacon bap (substitute your own local word for round bread roll).

Then GP quali and a takeaway curry tonight

Morning.
Quiet weekend and then a week left before finishing until the new year.
The question is will the company Xmas party happen next Saturday.
Always a grand affair for nearly 500 people.
Being a privately owned company the owner loves (as do we) a good traditional Xmas party with accommodation and partners.
It's a tough call.

Is christmas baking a euphemism for muffin?
