Now listed for a third time!

Description says that he will let it go to the highest bidder with a 99p start price and no reserve. First time it got to about £8900, second time it got to £8000 and now its at £6200 with 12 hours to go, funny how all bids are recorded as private. Something a bit dodgy going on there...

The previous owner has now allegedly been in touch and will send all of the service history.

Definitely one to avoid

This car keeps appearing on different threads. Its a dog! Pictures can be so deceiving. Cat D, prob clocked also. Alarm bells, chimes, fireworks, the whole cabosh is going off. Leave well alone!

hmm, if you look at the guy's other listings; he looks like a bit of a "dealer" but probably knows nothing about this kind of car.

He'll need to go alot further with the listing the generate trust within people who might be interested. He could even get it pre-inspected and list the results...

If anyone's after a Ghibli, the blue one on eBay is an absolutely amazing example, it was at Autoshield today for a service.

Yep, just been talking about it...Go back a few posts.........Apparently its not a good un from what some of the others have said.....Sold a few times through EBAY.....then came straight back up for sale...So tells me it never sold.....Now we know what he wants for it though.....He did have an offer of 8400

Because Andy, his mates are bidding, to push price up. So, no sale!

back again...

I think this must be the 5th time its been listed!

Wording of the ad is pretty well the same each time, still hasn't had time to get the full service history (up to 2005!!!) from HR Owen. Vastly over inflated opinion of how much its worth, Start price 99p will let it go to the highest bidder (hasn't he had a few of those already?), 31 bids from "private bidders" so far...

Looks like a nice one and has all the right history. I'd be a little worried about using one daily though, bodywork will really suffer if used on wet or salted roads on a regular basis as they don't have the best corrosion resistance. Although Ghiblis do suffer from not being used regularly, the running costs for daily use may be a little high with 6k service intervals, 18-20mpg round town etc. Having said that, if you plaster it in Dintrol and can stomach the running costs then there is no reason why you couldn't use it every day.
