I've had two (small) claims on the policy he kindly supplied my car with and on both occasions they were as easy as pie to deal with. Yes, Claire at Bill McGraths rates them very highly (they did both small jobs for me) and says they are the most straight-forward to deal with. McGraths have a good relationship with them now and Claire tells me they occasionally ring her for advice on hours quoted on some of their other claims.
McGraths also just squeeze in under their hourly rate allowance. I doubt they would pay main dealers' hourly rates.
They've offered me a lifetime cover (for as long as I keep the car) for £1,600, limited to £2,000 per claim. I'm quite tempted.
Anyone who's genuinely after a warranty extension who has a good car is welcome to call me. I don't use Warrantywise, I use a different broker called Warrantyworks. They have all sorts of levels of cover and prices differ by age, mileage etc. The important thing is the claim limit as these differ greatly. I can offer the 'lifetime you own the car' policy too, just need to send them a copy of the V5C annually to prove you are stil in possession of the car. Great policy for long term owners, but can't be sold on obviously.
