The weather was cloudy today so I couldn't work out if you were a waif or stray, so that's why I said 'the guys'! :D :D

I'll be at Lymm. See you Monday with my thermals on!

Well, I`m really disappointed in you, David. I thought those from the North East were so `ard that wearing just a Newcastle shirt in January was regarded as effete - and now you admit to thermals!!!

The trouble is, I've lived darn sarf for 30 years so some of the immunity has worn off!

Thermal T shirts!!! Wow, that`s an idea, Benny. We could flog them to those Geordies who`ve lived away for so long that they are getting soft like David.

Best you repost this on the 'new business ideas thread' and tell them you want 25%!

Many thanks to Benny and his mate David for organising another superb day at Oulton Park. The company was superb, as ever. Only a couple or three disappointments;
1. the weather wasn`t up to the forecast - please can you sort that out for next time, Benny?
2. MrMickS didn`t wear the red trousers he had promised to demonstrate! Chicken!
3. I didn`t take a photo of the Lotus which had something a certain lady described as a Prince Albert!!!!!! If I`d got a photo I could have shown folk and asked if they knew what she meant, because I didn`t!
Seriously, thanks, Benny!

No worries mate, you're welcome. I'll try and organise better weather next time but I can't promise anything! Thanks to all those that came, it was good to see you all again and I bumped into a few of the SCD originals, which was nice! Thanks again guys, hopefully, see you soon.

Not the right weather for the red trousers and handmade Italian shoes.

Here's a quick edit of the trip from the Riverside to Oulton Park

Benny

Very well organized and a great day out despite the weather. I got to meet a few more of the forum members which was great! I'm only sorry I didn't get to spend any time with you and to thank you for a great day. By the time we got back after the GT racing you and a few others had gone!............Thanks again Benny (brother also asked me to thank you) and maybe we might meet up in the Residence soon.

No worries mate, good to see you and I'm glad you had a good day out. Let me know when you fancy a beer in Nantwich and I'll do my best to get there!

Great day out yesterday. Thanks for organising it Benny.

Terry upped the ante again with a gazebo to keep the rain off.

The racing was interesting in the damp conditions shame that the Maserati driver switched to a McLaren and the car had to be withdrawn.

Good day. Alex and I both enjoyed it and the damp conditions livened up the racing. I've never seen it so busy and the numbers in the supercar parking were high. Some interesting (and not so interesting) stuff in there. The weather was too rubbish to bother taking photos though.

Thanks to Benny for organising and Terry for the shelter provided by the gazebo. Inevitably it was much brighter when we got back to Yorkshire.

Amazing how many friends you suddenly find you have when you have a gazebo and it starts raining!
