I'm confident taking the dash apart and changing the core. Putting it back together worries me; end result of a wonky dash lol.
Is it covered in the workshop manual? I looked through last night but didn't find it amongst the 700 odd pages but I wasnt looking very hard.
It will be in the 3200 Workshop Manual I expect or follow the how to. The dash top will come off first and that easy and can be had off in 15 mins. Then you need to remove the clocks probably (battery off of course) then maybe the column which is in my Cruise Control thread.
I expect you need to take the centre consul out (not if its a GranSport...engages smug face)
Most connectors will be multi plugs, get yourself some coloured rolls of electrical tape and a permanent marker, and you wont go wrong.
Just watch the fuse box in the passenger footwell when you let the water go from the heater matrix. Its all common sense. stuff.
