Thought you were thinking of selling in favour of Aston Tom4200.

Have you got used to her now?

Here are a few pics. One of the original secondary CAT section and a couple of new replacement sections before they were fitted on the car.

No you are seeing secondary decat front section in between centre section and US style manifold/headers. Both sections were custom made for the car from Marios @ Autoshield.
My centre section is stock OEM. So a silenced x-pipe section as I understood it. Any non-oem aftermarket x-pipe is unsilenced. Feel free anyone to correct me if I'm wrong but that was my understanding.

That sounds absolutely sublime. I love high pitch Ferrari V8's but I am also a fan of low grunt V8's and Maserati seem to balance that perfectly. If you want my opinion the Maserati 3200 (in this case) sounds better than either a late model Ferrari or American muscle. It is one of the reasons I like them so much.

So if I understand correctly is that de-catted? If so does that cause problems come MOT time? I know it's an issue with Ferraris that are de-catted.

Thanks for the compliments, the more I drive it the more I just want more of the sound. People have contacted me asking for more info saying they actually prefer it to the higher pitched frantic scream of the Ferrari style V8's. I would say mine sounds more like a Maser GT than a Mustang or other detroit metal, it's a nice angry sound.

My car has removed centre cat and straight through (no rear silencers), it does not affect emissions (cannot 100% say for sure but it didn't on my last MOT).

Here is a little video I did after we hit some small underpasses yesterday, kids love it too :)

Cheers mate, we went to the hospital today and she was brave, the good news is that it won't need an op!

That sounds fantastic. Your car just has the balance. I had a Ferrari Mondial a few years back. A tunnel run then with a friend back in 2006.
Loved it on song but low down it did not sound that good. Listening to yours makes my spine tingle. Seems like your kids loved it too :thumb1:

Sounds great Malc, a proper racy sound. The thing is these cameras can't properly capture the sound so in real life they sound way way better!
