Morning to all you Guys my Wednesday well and truly done.
Loving my new Job well and over the moderns.
So far this week a service on a MK2 Jaguar 3.8 manual on chrome wires Lovely.
Rear shocks on a series one 4.2 Daimler XJ6.
Tomorrow full service on a 91 XJSR 6.0 litre V12 TWR one of 2 in NZ no expense spared do what you need to and then we will get the AM into you.
Photos to follow as soon as I get a new phone as the weekends enduro on the BMW mud plugger finished the current one after cocking up a river crossing but the bike survived after getting the water out of the cylinder and exhaust very lucky indeed.
Phil - networking as in plugging wires into stuff, or networking as in chatting to people? I'm guessing the latter!
Morning, all. Looks like spring out there, but doesn't feel much like it yet. Making slow progress sorting out the new car. Transport booked for next week to get it darn sarf, then the inspection and all being well I should be able to finally collect end of next week or the week after. Just in time for Easter and sodding off on holiday for a week when I won't be able to enjoy it. Mind you, there's not been much scope for enjoying our sillycars lately anyway. Other than the clearly critical business of buying a car I apprantly have some work to get in with, from home today.
Anyone who has been on a Llandow track day with the forum and stayed over night will have enjoyed a lovely meal at Mamma Mia's....one of the best steaks for miles.....Just found out its closing down after this weekend ..... Made some great memories in there.
There is another Italian opened up in Chepstow but it's not as good so if I do another track day we may have to rethink our eatery.
A very good morning to all....Early trip to centre of Bristol then up to Gloucester for 12. Need to get a cheap daily hack to run around in as well. Local car chap has a very clean 2007 318 BMW that may fit and as my father bought a car off him last weekend and has known him all his life I would expect a decent deal. Couple of decent Skoda Octavia's local as well and these seem to be reliable.....
