Parked the GT today whilst visiting a friend.

20-something male walking up the street mutters something whilst I'm crossing the road. Ignore him as it felt he wasn't talking to me.

Says it again loudly "Your car is S**t".

Such special people out there.

Luckily this sort of behaviour is rare rarely directed to Tridents or their owners.

In nearly three years in the Marque, I have had countless positive comments, gestures, smiles, etc.

I did have one solitary incident where a male in his twenties, waved to get my attention and then proceeded to pretend he was masturbating.

I smiled, called him a w**nker and drove off.

You've found a rare idiot there. Maserati seems to be just about the most appreciated car brands with the general population. You should have agreed with him and told him you hate driving it but hard times mean you have no choice.

Off topic I had a great autoroute run with a French registered bi turbo (I think) and 3200 whcih were already running in convoy with a collective 6 occupants waving frantically at us with big smiles. Will never undertsand why maserati hasn't revisited the 3200 rear light design as it really is iconic.
