I get loads of positive comments about the Maserati, people seem to love them.

I've had a few stupid comments such as "poor man's Ferrari" and people suggesting that I'm an enthusiastic masturbator, though i assume these people just know me and the gestures have nothing to do with my car

That just highlights their ignorance; Maseratis aren't a poor mans Ferrari, they are a thinking mans Ferrari, and anyone telling you otherwise is a tw4t.

not so sure using tw4t actually proves the thinking man bit...............but agree with the sentiment! lol

Tw4t down south is a safe word ie not having same impact it does up North. Most upper class swear like troopers not sure that proves "thinking man" or not.

I've only had mine a week but when I'm driving it through the village, people out walking will stop and stare and admire. Made me laugh the other night, I'm driving up the road and I see a bloke walk into his house, stop to look, cane back out, flagged me down as I drove past and said, "f***ing awesome car mate!".....I love the attention I'm getting now

Does this sum up the fact that, deep down, we are all exhibitionists? Some more than others though..... (Benny? hehe)

hehe.

I've had lots of strange comments along the lines of "How is a guy meant to compete with that?" and "You sure know how to intimidate a man". Do guys really feel like that? My thinking is, if you don't feel confident enough to approach me because I drive a fabulous car, then keep on walking Jack!!!

It's nothing like that sweetie, we don't want to approach you because we know you! ;)

With three brothers and no sisters, I had to learn very quickly how to defend myself haha.

I'm heading off next Saturday on a driving trip with an Aston Martin, a Porsche and Helen and her husband Jonathan in her new 458 (although he's driving) hehe. She had such a fun time on the Centenary trip, she wants to do an annual trip. Walkie talkies are compulsory!!! 7 days and she won't divulge the itinerary. So looking forward to it. The Flying Banana is currently being fitted with new tyres and a 'spa day' at Dick Lovetts. Having GT tyres fitted so I can use it all year rather than just sunny days. The Strad tyres are brilliant in the dry but rather 'thrilling' in the wet. Counting the days.....
