    New Aircon Fan

Hi, My 2008 (prefacelift) qp v sport gt has a knackered aircon fan. Any ideas where i can get one? Anyone changed one themselves? Giallo cars were looking for a reconditioned one for me (theyre always helpful) but no luck. Cheers

    New Pirelli P-Zero

You should be able to get rear 6s from Camskill.co.uk. I got them from my local tyre place for a similar price. Weather has been rubbish so I haven't pushed them but no problem with a few possible aquaplaning situations. The next ones below 6s are 5Ps which are good and then the 5s but the 5s...

    Contisportcontact 6 tyres

Hi everyone, These contisportcontact 6 tyres are now available for rears on the qp sport gt - 285 r20 30. I'm about to get them fitted. My tyre fitter asked two things, is there a maserati qp homologated oem tyre I should be going for instead? From what I've heard the conti sc6 is...

    Winter Battery Problems

Hi everyone, So my QP battery isn't behaving. Mines a 2008 QP Sport GT (pre facelift version). Battery randomly went flat within a week after a bit of a cold spell. After jumping it I tested the alternator and no problems there. 13-14V no problem. It charged and seemed fine. One week...

    New Pirelli P-Zero

Just found the latest evo tyre test results http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/2016-EVO-Summer-Performance-Tyre-Test.htm It's a very different car but good to see the comparisons. I'll have to pick up a copy of the latest issue to see a bit more about the road part of the test.

    New Pirelli P-Zero

Sorry, cant help with price and although I've not tried them yet, I'm personally thinking of going for contit sport contact 6 when I change the rears. The 5's won evo's tyre test last year and they then released the 5P and now the 6. I'm still not sure about how they wear or what the wear rating...

    Never Ending Beeps!

FIXED! Ok - before trying to disconnect the battery, I tried replicating what last caused the warning beeps to reset it. I started the engine without pressing the brake (this is a duoselect btw). The warning beeps continued and said 'depress brake pedal'. I did and it reset the beeper...

    Never Ending Beeps!

Cheers, I was thinking that too. Ill give it a go in the morning. I dont think the minimum level beep will drain the battery by then.

    Never Ending Beeps!

Hi All. Maser QP V, 2008. Had it a while now, no issues. Today getting in, turned the key and I got some warning beeps from the dash. The same beeps you get if you turn the ignition before pressing the brake (yes I did that before). Anyway, it is stuck beeping constantly, even when the...

    Gutted

Sorry to hear this. I used to have a little lotus that got pronged like this about once a year on average as I parked it on the street. I soon learned that there are two types of garage. Ones that do loads of insurance claims and more local or specialist bodyshops that also do non-insurance or...

New Car, No Service Record / Log Book

Fantastic, this is really helpful. Thanks. It's basically as I expected, change all fluids, some filters and the aux belt. I know the oil and filters have been done and I discussed changing at least the aux belt and fluids and anything else mentioned in the manual. I'll pass it on so I can...

New Car, No Service Record / Log Book

Yep, totally agree. It's at Kent Ferrari Centre now, will be serviced in the week. They seem like a good outfit but I haven't spoken to them. Is there anything inparticular I need to keep an eye out for on the 4th service? Should it be having gearbox oil change? Anyone use Kent Ferrari Centre in...

New Car, No Service Record / Log Book

I forgot to mention, the main dealers also store all the service history so I was able to verify the ecu screenshot and receipts. All seems legit! I just need to make sure for my own peice of mind that all the correct items are serviced and parts replaced where needed.

New Car, No Service Record / Log Book

Good to hear people's opinions on this. I think my usual advice to myself would be to walk away! But in this case I've got a good chance to get the car sorted at a really good price and deal with the service book later. The dealer has sent me scans of all the receipts and a screenshot of the...
