This is something that has been depressing for me.....I went into lockdown a healthy looking 82kg man, with jogging 4 times a week and football being played
Not done any exercise really for 18 months, diet all over the place and now at 90kg
I have lost motivation and don’t want to do any exercise......
I can’t carry on like this as I’m short and the big belly is bringing me down so I must change, let’s see

Start with small fitness aims and gradually increase them as your stamina/strength improves. This is something that has been depressing for me.....I went into lockdown a healthy looking 82kg man, with jogging 4 times a week and football being played

@dem maser how did you get on with the link? I was with him this morning and told him to look out for you.
Is that weetabix to lower cholesterol..never heard of them..mines high too.Start with small fitness aims and gradually increase them as your stamina/strength improves.
As others have said, the hardest thing is restarting and it will hurt and not feel good for a while....eventually youll see and feel the benefits.
I’ve found a fairly easy way recently to get the diet on track by replacing my evening meal with a “man shake” made with two cholesterol weetabix (unfortunately I need em).
Surprisingly filling and I fast thereafter through to around midday.
Come on Dem you can do it. Good for the Covid fight too.
Okey doke, never seen them before.......hardly surprising though as I never do the shopping at home. But I’ve eaten “normal” weetabix every weekday morning for years, like decades really.
That’s incredible, very very well done!I recommend the daily weight loss podcast.
I've kept quiet on this thread, but have been successful in losing 15.6kg since early March.
I have a friend with the same goals, we've succeeded together having set a goal of the end of this month.
For anyone who's lacking motivation (as I was), try to find an accountability partner with similar goals, have a weekly weigh-in and track your weight, BMI and fat %.
Once you get into a habit, it gets easier. I walk 3 times a day, avoid carbs, but still have a few drinks. If I need to, I fast for a day or two (just water).
Back to wearing belts that I wore at university (31" waist).
It can be done...
I’ll join tomorrow.....thank you@dem maser how did you get on with the link? I was with him this morning and told him to look out for you.
