My Brera will never be worth a lot. 143k miles, tatty, but as a 4wd on winter tyres through the winter I can't fault her. I know they get bad press, I think people expect them to be something they are not, but I wouldn't be without, hence a nice day and some tlc. I had a misano blue 2.4 diesel and took that round to 130k without many problems. Did the egr delete and had a tuning box on it. Lost a crank pulley just as we arrived at our destination in France. Great cars though and underestimated.

I love the shape of the Brera.. such a good looking car, I always wanted one of the Prodrive ones and got all excited when one came for sale near me few years back. So I bundled my, then quite young, daughters in my car and headed for the Dealer.. that is was when I discovered that 4 seats is only true if the driver is either <5ft tall or you have no legs in the back.. shame loved the car... just could not justify having my daughters legs amputated to own it..... still on the list....

I quite fancy another one as a project. Travelled all over Europe in the 4 years I had it. Not fuel efficient for a diesel though.

Wow! And then £40k on top for the restoration. You could have a modern Ferrari or Maserati for that. Admittedly the Datsun would be more reliable!

however, whilst the 240z is a good future investment rising in price the Ferrari/mas would be going the other way
