Yes Andy and what is more of a crime is that since the engine rebuild over a year ago he still hasn't started it. Making matters even worse this car is very rare in UK being one of a couple made in yellow

wow a yellow 328, that is a very rare sight, most were red, it is rare to see one in black but yellow, i bet it looks stunning.

If you want a cheap Ferrari a 355 is the way to go or perhaps a well cared for 328. I would not get involved with a 308GT4, Mondial or 400GT. Yes you maybe lucky and find a gem but make a mistake and you will be severely punished in the costs of running these not so desireable Ferraris...........its a bit like a Biturbo...........it takes a brave man to get involved

UM, I do agree the only 'older' Ferrari worth going for would be a 355.....They seemed to be getting better on reliability at that stage.

These 308s are poetry in motion and still life art...

Well the top one has aftermarket large rims and low profiles, and technically so does the bottom one, IIRC 308's came on 14" wheels as standard!! That one looks like it's on the optional 16" rims, which look the part.

I'll put my anorak away now....

Not at all Paco! Do you know what 308's are like to live with? Are they very expensive to maintain? How were they to actually drive?

The 308 is a stunner but the 458 is not, too complicated and i hate all the electronics nonsense in it.

I think I see what you mean Adam about the 458. I was kind of two ways about it. But after seeing it in the flesh and then again on top gear, started to grow on me...

The 328 with injection is the one to have. Ferrari never could get those webers to sing in harmony. As pretty as the car is the interior is looking pretty dated

Ooh yes I see what you mean - one in black below (fabulous). For me, the lines of the 308 are hard to beat...

In my very humble opinion Adam, and having spent some time in it's company, I think the Italia will go down in history as one of Ferrari's greatest achievements. It doesn't throw out the rule book, but it does re-write it for the 21st Century. I'm pretty certain that after a couple of weeks the driver assists would make sense and become second sense, after which you would have the rare joy of driving one of Italy's finest automobiles for a long, long time. Your children will look back on it like you do with the 355 and 308.
