Ok, as the title says, a bit of trivia for a Friday afternoon, mine were:

1. Renault 14 TL
2. Renault 14 TS
3. Renault 11 Electronic

As you can see I had a bit of a Renault thing going on. The Renault 14 was voted worst car of all time and Renault 11 was voted car of the year. The 14 was very good to be fair, it had electric windows as standard etc...the 11 had electronic everything, so you guessed it that was a nightmare but really nice car. My love affair with Renault ended with 2 Megane's. I though old Renaults were trouble, but I cut my engineering teeth on them, but when I started earning, I bought new, and they were more problematic than the old ones. I then left the marque and bought something called a GTV......and the rest as they say is history!

Was a lowly student then Loz.........cos it was so corroded around the headlights, when it rained they blew.........so sealed up the tops of the wings with black masking tape...they looked like 2 eyelids!!!!

1. Morris Minor Traveller
2. Vauxhall VX490FE
3. Vauxhall "Droopsnoot' sportshatch

I was young and times were hard! I enjoyed the Sportshatch though, I wish I still had it.

Ok picking up from the underage stuff (covered on other threads) to licensed and virtually road legal...

MkIII Cortina 1.6 auto, pancake filter, jetted and breathed on with low ratio diff - bright orange & rust, undersealer and masking tape sills, perforated everything - mad acceleration but all out at 85.

(joint owned with brother) Bedford CFII 250 Tipper truck we fitted with a Rover V8 3.5 litre (had to be auto as no rooom for a clutch pedal) twin cherry bombs up the cab... 0 to Ye-Ha in about 3 seconds...

Hyundai Pony pick up.... bought new for under £4k in 86

Minivan - had it for 10 years - always have been a loyal chap.
Renault 5
Honda Accord - after 18 months it was as full of rust holes as Nora Batty's stockings!

Have to say Loz that I had a R11 Turbo later in my driving life (around 1988 I think) and it was a hoot. Everything about the 5 Turbo but with more space. Wish I still had it.
