1986 Alfa Romeo 33Ti
1991 Alfa Romeo 33 Permanent 4
1981 Lancia Montecarlo Spider (still have).
Everything has been Alfa Romeo since, until the 3200 came.
I am hoping to grow out of the Italian car phase at some stage, but it is not looking promising.

1 - 1984 A reg Talbot Horizon - only car my Dad ever bought new. I was the 4th of 4 kids to learn to drive in it...was a 1.1LE, when the engine gave up the ghost, Dad put a 1.5 in it! Top draw, Dad! :)

2 - 1991 Cavalier GSi 2000 - first car I ever bought. Had some superb times in it. Was only a couple of years old and was the nicest car in the Uni car park (obviously, I was biased!). Got asked a few time "does your Dad not mind you bringing that to Uni". Oddly enough, my Dad never really had nice cars after he had four additional mouths to feed (would love to get him somehting nice now if I had the means). The GSi Was an unknown when I bought it, everyone else was getting XR3i's and R5 GTTs, but this would give them the best of them a run for its month.

3 - 1989 Rover 827 Vitesse - not my pic, but identical to this one. Bought it for £1400 and sold it nearly a year later for £1700. What a giggle and bought at a time that I still lived at home and....well, it was pretty roomy inside ;). Great car and underated. Had an incredible Honda V6 in it which sounded great and went like stink. Garbage around the twisties, but great on Motorways. Would leave much 'better' cars standing....was a lot of fun on long journeys.

Always loved the GSi woody, as you can see i had a nova and wanted to drop the 2.0 cavalier/calibra lump in it....
I take it the cavalier was after the rover??

No mate, in the right order. Bought the Cav when at Uni, then sold it and put the money into a business after Uni. Should have bought a house and never looked back!

Had another Cav after the Rover, though, oddly, it was older! Black, G plate. Loved 'em. As for the engine drop, the GSi or the Turbo was the heart of choice. I'd imagine a Nova with either in would FLY!
