From what I've seen, £36K to £40K seems to have settled as the selling price range for 'pristine' examples with the spread covering low to very low mileage and spec'.

I'm still pretty certain this is the ex GP Edinburgh example that they had for sale a few months ago, so I'm curious why it is back with them so quickly?

Well Im not quite as low mileage as that having covered 15,000 miles now but I do have a total unblemished service history with main dealers. Every service has been carried out on time and a new clutch fitted 3,000 miles ago under warranty. In addition mine is LE.

If I were selling I would be loathed to let her go for the same price as some average high mileage example that has been serviced irregularly but when push comes to shove a car is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it

Yes, there was the victory blue one for sale not long ago at 26k. I would like James's Gransport, 05, 30k ish miles, Black with Tech Cloth, been in that car and it is in lovely condition. 25k trade price.

Another reason why I think Gransports will appreciate in time and become a collector's car is because it heralds the end of the fast Ferrari powered small sports coupe for Maserati. With the Granturismo S sharing the QP platform it is significantly bigger. I know Maserati are talking about a new small Maserati to retail at around £50,000 but I doubt that will be powered by Ferrari. At present there is nothing in the Maserati line up which offers Granturismo S performance with the baby size of the Gransport.

But in earlier eras....Maserati GTs were not small coupes....but full on 2+2s......so maybe going back to their roots?
