The FD ones are complete sh!te, flash coated cr4p and mine lasted two removal cycles before they started rusting.

It's the truth. One of mine flaked before I even put it on. In fairness to FD they did replace it, but they're not long-term pretty.

Those titanium ones look the bollox.

I took mine, and buffed them on a polishing wheel, keeps the rust at bay for around 6 months or so.

Just buy a set of stainless bolts and take the pain. Polishing bolts seems a bit cheapskate, so buy a set and say f*ck it and live your lives in peace.

Yep, compared with other Maserati parts prices they're a bargain

Well after shelling out on a top to toe cambelt change and a throttle body refurb I really wasn't in the position to spend another several hundred pounds on bolts and mine were looking pretty hideous.

So plumped for the £17 22mm chrome eBay special bolt caps. Whilst they're never going to win a concours competition she looks a **** site nicer than she did previously!

Several hundred pounds? £162 delivered isn't that bad. Put them on your list for later! ;)

Ok.. well I'm sure last time I looked it was over £200.. and even at £162 price it's best part of 10x more than my plastic caps :)

These are just a temporary measure and she'll get treated to some nice bolts once the necessities are all paid for... but I thought for the price they've lifted the appearance nicely.

Anyway.. plastic is all a 3200 deserves surely Benny? :)

If using titanium does one need some special grease (and is grease a no-no on wheel nuts?). I seem to recall having a titanium crank axle on a road bike some 30 years ago and needing to put some grease on it before the alloy pedals went on to stop them binding together. It may not be an issue with titanium and steel.

The titanium certainly look the dog's nuts.

Silver Slip (Bit like copper slip) should do the trick....

I may treat myself for my birthday when I get back from holidays,,,
