Stephen doesn't know his ar5e from his elbow. There are buttons on the rear of the steering wheel, they duplicate the radio/CD controls, you will be a long time trying to get them to change gears. Dicky is right, this is a ZF auto without paddles.

They do that pretty badly too, really awkward buttons. The paddles can be retro fitted for around £1500, there's a post here on it:

I'd be leaving it to Autoshield if I ever needed them. I wouldn't say it would be a deal-breaker if the car's a good one; but it may be low spec if it doesn't have these fitted.

Thanks for that kind offer, Loz. Unfortunately, the car won't be leaving Lancaster Maserati until Friday.

Just received an email form Stephen James informing me that the "paddle buttons" are indeed for the radio and not used to change gear and that their advert will be amended.

Stephen will have been watching on here and decided he had better be a bit clearer in his descriptions, well done Elliott.

Well done him for changing the description too. The last thing that Mr James wants is an angry buyer who instead of changing up into third, instead got Woman's Hour blaring out of the radio!

Hope all goes well mate , but dont forget Elliot Danji has just put his up for sale , looks very clean and well cared for ,

regards loz

Thanks for the heads up. I've been in contact with him about QPs in general. Unfortunately for both of us, the interior colour of his car is not what I'm looking for.

Thanks for the plug Loz :) but, as Elliott says, I had mentioned it to him before I started advertising the car and was always aware he was after a different colour combo.

How did the viewing go Elliot...?

It's a good tidy car. Earlier I posted about how it wasn't for me and that I'd prefer a fully automatic car. However, after crunching some numbers, I don't think that I could justify sticking £10k on top of selling my 4200 just for a fourth car. So, I'm thinking about it once more and I edited my post as I'd completely changed my mind in an afternoon.

I think that I'd prefer a black car with a cream interior. Basically a QP version of my 4200. And it looks like it will have to be a duo select and my OH will drive it in auto mode when she's behind the wheel.

So, lots of decisions to make. But, in the whole scheme of things, really nice ones.

:)
