Remind me, when did the 4 seater launch - around 2013 was it? I have seen the odd 4 seat conversion of the original 2 seater and they look like a good job but very rare
Good luck with your search
FYI I was sent this email by a main dealer today so there are deals to be had on new cars! I must add that I had not even begin negotiating a deal here and this was offered by the dealer without me even asking for a discount!
It was a pleasure speaking with you just now, following on from our conversation I have spoken to Maserati and they have given us support behind the deal to make it happen! We can go that little bit more on your forward order and do the car for £113,500 from £122,500! That's a signification amount of a built to order personalized MC Cabrio, by ordering now Maserati will honour this amount, along with the price of the car before there is another price increase! The car will be a 16 plate ready for March/April delivery.
Unfortunately, as lovely as it is,it 's way over priced for a private sale in the real world. An example from a dealer, same mileage http://www.sportsmaserati.co.uk/classifieds.php?class_act=post_details&id=290 The spread on these at certain mileages is very big from trade to retail.
Your best bet would be to give it to Dicky or Nuvola and do a SOR, but you still won't return anything like that.
I completely disagree with your post above. Two car's cannot be compared until viewed. Yes my car is the same price as this one from a "dealer" however it as had a new clutch, new battery, new brakes and a fresh service from a Maserati main dealer! On top of this I had it paint corrected and the paintwork is MINT! All faded buttons on the dash and the steering wheel have also been replaced - the car really needs to be viewed before compared to others!
This example you list has also has also lost it's FMSH as it was serviced at an Indy where as mine has FMSH.
My car also has a warranty for another 4 months left on so no risks there - pretty much like a dealer sale IMHO. These cars are bought by enthusiasts and they pretty much know what to look for when they go out to search for one. As I said before I'm in no rush to to sell and will wait for the right buyer to turn up I have sold many of the car's listed below privately and some pretty much at the same prices as dealer listed cars.
If thing's don't work out by the time we are out of winter then I'll certainly consider a part ex in spring 16.
The link was one example that appeared as a pop up advert on the top of this page, while I was writing, as it's 6 years old won't matter if it's been serviced at an indi as long as it was done by a well reputed one, some may even favour it !I completely disagree with your post above. I know of one 2 seater Stradale that has been converted to 4 seats. A black car with black alcantara and yellow piping.......Last sold through Dicky. I think Nuvola had something to do with the conversion as they had it for sale and it was 2 seats and then reappeared as a 4 seater.

I came very close to buying that car, it appeared to be expertly done, but really struggled with insurance, and gave up in the end.
Did hear that it could be hard to insure.

I'll give you another example.
In 2013 I bought a 2 owner 2008/58 34K mile 4.7S mc shift.Fully loaded (102K list). It had 6 months of the Maserati extended warranty left, every bit of paperwork, had all the interior leather, buttons, steering wheel etc etc, and even the windscreen replaced as it had delaminated a tiny bit, all done under the cover-all Maserati warranty before the owner went to trade it. Completely over serviced at Maser dealers by a man that had more money than sense. I got it for £500 more than the guys best trade bid from Maserati Colchester...I paid £36,750,.... at the time the retail value was circa 45K-49K depending whether it was a decent indi or a Maser dealer. I kept it a year, sold it via Nuvola around April 2014 and got myself £40,500 back, which was lovely. That was pretty much the true private value at the time, 18 months ago. The car was perfect spec for his clients ( as is yours)and it sold in two weeks.Values have been solid since then, it's certainly worth thinking about.
Please don't think I'm criticising your car, I'm not and it looks a stunning example (like mine was), but you have to be realistic.
....and it's gone.........I pondered a Stradale and a centennial edition but they were just too similar to my car so in the end I went for the attached....can't wait to pick it up in a weeks time......I'm in love all over again
