Looks Med Blu ( all though some shots look a bit lighter) if it is, it is a great colour.

Interested to see how you get on as I could do with a front end respray, chips etc.

Had a chat with Phil yesterday and made the decision today to go for it, now I've just got to decide if I want to change the colour

My last 3 cars have been silver , hmm , I've always wanted a car this colour

You won't be disappointed. If it were a GS I would keep it silver the colour really suits the car and shows off the kit. What colour interior do you have?

Mediterrano is a 3 stage paint so will cost a lot more.

Mines going in 3rd week in April.

Give me a shout when your down I'll come over and pick you up, you get lunch, I'll get you to the airport, fair enough?

If it were me I'd stick to silver.

Mine goes in 3rd week in April.

Knew there would be a catch - how much for bonnet, front wings Matt - if its possible, mines not too bad but I suspect this year and possibly Brunty may put a bit of paint on the horizon for winter.

I'll probably stick to the same colour , just been out and had a look, there's a lot more silver than I thought so it'll be too much work

I've got some work to do on my dads house so I'll probably get the train to Northants in the evening , I'll be getting my hands dirty so likely to be there all day.

Tried ringing this morning and sent a text but no reply , I presume he's away for the bank holiday weekend , I was hoping to take it in on or after the 6th April as it'll save me a couple of trips because there's 4-5 days work at my dads house

Phil is the painter so he's in the booth most of the day. I have text him too, he will come back to you if not let me know and I'll pop in and see him.

Ooo, I have to disagree on colour. I have nettuno blu which I think is great but I would have to say I think Mediterraneo blu will be the definitive colour when people in 20 years are looking at these cars.

I'll have a chat with Phil when I get there and take his advice, cost is an issue , I have to remember it's a 96k car so spending too much on it isn't economically viable , plus it could do with 4 tyres and a wheel refurb which will be another £700

Unless my wife is reading this in which case that was a typo

I was following a learner back from Oulton park yesterday, he stalled 3 times at a junction on the A49, we were all learners once so patience, got it going but I thought I'm not going through that again , first break in the double white lines and I'm past in seconds.

I thought the WRX was quick but this is something else

The 4200 is booked in for the respray on Wednesday , I'm wondering whether to get them to remove the aerial on the back OS wing and fill the hole in or leave it original

What does the forum think, lose it or keep it original

I spent ages sealing that :)

What are you going to use instead?

C
iPod

I bought 4 tyres for it today , Pilot Sport 4s but they won't be getting fitted until after it's painted , I'm toying with changing the colour of the wheels to anthracite , I've seen a few silver cars with the darker wheels andI like the way they look, especially with the 4200s multi spoke wheels
