What to do?

A manual 360 would be a great option. Fun to own, especially with a Tubi Style exhaust (which I had on mine). And I don’t believe that a way heavier Strad is quicker - certainly doesn’t feel it in my experience. That said, my 360 ownership was a long time ago, and memories do fade/alter.

I had a manual 360 Modena; a good one is really a great car.

2002/03 360 or 2014 Strad for less money.... it’s fairly obvious where the value is.

Never driven a 360 or 430 but I prefer the look of the former that said I would go for a manual 355 one of the best cars I have ever driven it just felt so right.

In my experience the 360 Modena drives significantly better than a 355 Berlinetta. Doing the OP no good as he won’t buy either. I’m with RWC Safrane, keep the GS and add a nice late QP S or GTS alongside.

Yep... pockets clearly not deep enough for my preferred Ferrari 599/612 even if I was to sell the GS.

Keeping the GS and having a softer 'GT' car is the way to go as this will keep both parties happy esp when the bills come on.

I saw that one at DL's today and the colour looks ok in the flesh, though I don't think it would be my first choice. Sadly, the seat inserts look as though they've been copied from a TR7 and imho don't do justice to Ferrari at all, let alone one at that price.

Now, you can get into a 612 for about £65k - well sorted too if you’re happy with a 40k Miles and earlier years model (2005-may be2006 ish). Those V12 are virtually bullet proof and i have heard of 125k miles+ still going strong.
It also has the benefit of being a true 4-seater like the GT while the 599 isn’t and is also way pricier (£100k for a well sorted low miles RHD)

As a matter of fact I think the 612 represents such a good value today (albeit still an expensive car) that I did consider adding a one as a daily driver to my stable, as I had found a FOC car which fitted the bill direct from owner at £66k... wife dissuaded me at the last minute - wish I hadn’t listened to her :)

Surely you mean wish you hadn't told her ? ;)

The 612 is a great car if you need to transport 4 people quickly. But if there’s just 2 of you, the 360 is easier, cheaper and more practical.

Certainly enjoyed my 360 Modena F1 and wish you could still buy them at the prices they were in 2013.

That CaliT is starting to get into my head.

Tell me about where the residuals are heading?

Ive been looking and the T's are falling quicker than non T's. All due to the Portofino.

But a dealer offered me a very good buy back (equiv to a cheap family hatch lease) in 12 months (miles limited to 5K) on a T so they cant be worrying that much. That a black on black car with 10K miles at 125K

As i said got 8K off a non T and that makes is a comparative bargain, wasnt a big fan of the cali but having drive both now, i have to say its better but really not that much that I would care. Might be the soft version compared to 458 but I want a GT car for long distance.

I reckon over xmas you could be in a decent non t cali for 70k and a T for 100K

Just looked at a new shape DB11 at same price - shame its switchgear is all from my merc C class:mad: didnt do it for me
