As we're similar in age i was interested as I'm stuck at 90kg and 6ft 2
8kg + is no mean feat so far!Agree with you Phil, it definitely gets harder to lose weight as we age....
I was 95.5kg on the 1st Jan 2020, 87.3kg on the 1st Jan 2021, and am trying to get below 80kg before I hit the big half-century in August... this will then give me a decent target to try and stick below....
Despite nearly four week of living on takeaways and premier inns I’m still moving in the right direction... low 20st now and hope to get under in the next two weeks!
Sounds like you’ve been pushed to far to me!I had my first session back at the gym on Tuesday first proper leg day since December
Only today I have got complete control of my legs again. For 3 days my quads, glutes and hamstrings have been hurting horrendously - affected my sleep for a couple of nights - hobbling up and down the stairs and even struggling to get off the bog!
No pain; no gain right?
Sounds like you’ve been pushed to far to me!

Monthly check in... Staying fairly consistent and it is paying off. The dramatic weight loss has innevitably slowed right down for me now. Stomach has flattened and my back fat is diminishing pretty nicely... Getting a hint of top and lower abs which is pretty cool. My chest neck and shoulders have got "toned" and a little bigger which makes the weight loss a little less noticeable - also my cloths aren't really fitting me properly, trousers too big and crew neck T shirts are too tight around my chest/shoulders/arms
From 1st June I have decided to step up the PT sessions from 1x 30min session per week to 2x mostly as I am starting to get used to the onslaught and not fatigued for 5 to 6 days until the next session.
