I am 45 - this year! and like any car you can run and fix without a computer thingy, which excludes most cars after 2000 - including my 3200! although many things possible with the forum combined knowledge.
The good old days when a mechanic listened to the engine and estimated your bill by a sharp intake of breath through his teeth and a shake of head - a few groats later all fixed.
Today its a posh dealer with a workshop like an operating theatre, dolly birds behind the counter and a price list they just seem to make up, £80 per hour labour and just whose wages are they? the £95 a week apprentice who ripped off my air filter with a crow bar and charged me £300+ for the fuel line he took with it.
Another rant over, feel better now.
Off to Volvo dealers tomorrow for a car more suitable..........

Please RSM, not a bloody Volvo! As a biker I get a headache even seeing the name written. I have always known them as Vulvas because they are usually driven by c*nts!

Diablo was 1992 if i remember correctly, Countach 5000S was 80's along with the 25th Anniversary. 348 was plain ugly regardless of which era it was from.

See, I struggle on the 348 being ugly...It may not have been a great Ferrari and a tad unloved but it is far from ugly........The 355 is one of the prettiest modern Ferrari and you can see where it came from, it has the bacic shape of a 348 ..When I see a 348 on the road I don't have to hide my eyes just in case it turns me to stone...In fact I usually think it looks very nice................No, don't get it...Ugly it ain't.

See, I'm the other way around...When I see a biker I get a headache.....Around by me when the sun comes out we get loads of the born again bikers in there bright colour leathers and their beer guts sticking out.... driving like ***** around the wye valley......Re-living their dreams to be like Barry Sheen and spoiling my Sunday afternoon.

Even better when they fly past on the back wheel and pull a stoppie on the front - give you the bird for driving slow and disappear with an ear splitting bellow from a Japanese 4 pot screaming at 12000rpm

I love my bike!

RSM, as they say; "for those that understand (bikes) no explanation is needed, and for those that don't understand, no explanation is possible". I love my bikes too.
