Its all made in some sweatshop in the Far East anyway. She’ll just get it direct.
I doubt that , I can buy a Rolex watch from the far east , it might look the same on the wrist but it's definitely not the same watch.
Go to cheatham Hill and you can buy all kinds of knockoff gear but you only see those aspiring to be rich buying it , never the rich themselves.
My point was anything not purchased through an official outlet would be considered knockoff even if it was made in the same factory
Can't help but say, I told you so.Interesting article.

It's EFTA(ish) to so that means single market/customs union AIUI...Thinking on your comment about watches, Switzerland isn’t in the EU so I wonder if there’s a Brexit benefit to purchasing a Swiss watch?

Within EU, like Norway, Lichtenstein, etc (proper EFTA)...is that just for trade within the EU? Does it apply to Swiss trade with non EU countries?
Wouldn’t need to ring the French though. They’d be deploying to Alaska.EU tangled up in red tape, really
If they ever get a European army can you imagine how long it'd take them to deploy if they were attacked, ringing all the leaders at 3am
Zara wouldn’t pay duty twice if they continued with the existing supply chain unless they are totally hopeless. If the goods are for re-export outside the EU, duty can be suspended or ‘drawn back’ later in SpainI didn’t mean back door I meant it’ll come direct. The companies will get wise
So you’ll order your jacket from Zara and instead of it coming from China to Spain and paying duty and then Spain to Uk and paying duty again. Zara will ship it direct from China to the UK and only pay duty once. The EU doesn’t really make much more than we do.
Not a very accurate cartoon, the EU boat should have a hole in the hull and be sinking!
